Obituary for Robert Max Ostrelich

Robert Max Ostrelich, 67, of Jefferson Street, Bridgeport, passed away Saturday evening, April 25, 2009, at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born May 16, 1941, in Shinnston, a son of the late James Max and Laverna Templeton Ostrelich. He is survived by his wife, Pamela A. Bell Ostrelich. Also surviving are his son, Robert Vance “Beaver” Ostrelich and his wife Sherry, Gypsy; and a granddaughter, Autumn Nicole Ostrelich. Bob was very proud of the fact that he served in the Army, the Air Force from ’63 – 69, the Marine Corp from ‘72 – ‘74 and the Navy from ’78 - 82, and he served two tours in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy in 1982. Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am with Reverend Jeff Vaughan presiding. Interment will follow at WV National Cemetery with Military Funeral Honors. Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
