Obituary for Candace Dawn Richards

Candace D. Richards, 42, of Andover, Ohio, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover. She was born June 23, 1971, in Anderson, Indiana, a daughter of the late Donald Grant Richards and Deborah J. (Dick) Crim, who survives in Bridgeport.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, April Richards High and her husband Phil, Shinnston; a niece, Cheyanne High; three nephews, Guy Ague II, Shawn Ague, and Rick Ague; her step-sister, Della Riffle, Bridgeport; two step-brothers, Ronnie Crim II and his friend Diane Eubank; and Jody Crim and his friend Vicki Kerns, all of Bridgeport; her step-grandmother, Ruth Crim, Bridgeport; several aunts and uncles, including Twila and Eddie Reed, Glenville, and Larry and Patty Dick, Bridgeport; several other nieces and nephews; her special friend, Rick Hollis, Andover, OH; and good friend Star McClure, Youngstown, OH.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Lee Richards; and her step-father, Ronald Crim, Sr.
A resident of Andover for the past eight years, Candy was formerly of Anderson, Indiana, where she attended Madison Heights High School. She had also attended Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, WV. Candy worked as a home health aide caring for people in their homes, and she enjoyed reading and playing computer games.

Candy was cremated and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Centerbranch Assembly of God Church, 2551 Buckhannon Pike, Mt. Clare, WV, with Pastor Luke Brugger presiding. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service, and a luncheon will be provided after the service.
