The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Rieser can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Rick Roda
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers to the Rieser family. Chick was one of the most welcoming humble people I have had the pleasure to know. Didn't matter if it was family, friends or work, Chick always had time for a story and a bit of insightful advice. Our loss is heavens gain.

Condolence: Please accept condolences from me and my mom, Barbara Morris. She asked that I pass along her best wishes. She is still in Clarksburg but not as spry as she used to be so she probably won't make it to the funeral home. I fondly remember your parents even though it's been eons since we all lived on High Street and Cindy and I picked Mr. Smith's cabbage plants to feed a pet rabbit. My dad, Bud Morris, also thought a lot of your father. Chick was a good man.

Condolence: Your dad was one of a kind. The world has lost a loving, generous, and kind soul. His care & concern extended far beyond his own family & he will be truly missed. He made possible some amazing memories for my family at the house in Nags Head & at the cabin with Steve & his family. It was always a pleasure to see him in Elkins when he'd be at mass. It was a blessing to be his friend and I'm sad to say good-bye. God bless you all as you mourn your loss and celebrate Chick's life. Know that we cherish his memory as well.
