The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dr. Lydia Lazaro can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Donnie & Betty Allen
Condolence: To Joe & the entire family:
Joe,
Although Betty & I are saddened to hear that your mother has passed, we are comforted by the fact that she is now reunited with her lifelong love...forever. Your mom was an amazing woman with a huge heart. I have some very-very fond memories of her and of the rest of the family. She loved us all. I recall how nice it was when she retired. It was somewhat of a celebration for me and your other friends because it meant that she would spend more time at home, which in turn meant that we could enjoy her excellent cooking more often! Even Sparky seemed to be more excited when she was home. He would let out an occasional bark while running around the house and just seemed to be a little more energetic when your mom was cooking dinner. Sparky also loved to join us in your room for the wonderful "to go" snacks that your mom would make for us.
I can recall the numerous weekend trips to Huntington that you and I would take to visit with Jesse & Ginger, and the Sunday morning visits to Gingers parents house before returning to Bridgeport.
Joe, it was always wonderful to go out to dinner with your mom, dad, brothers and sisters. Your mom always treated me like family and your dad was one of the kindest men I've ever known.
A smile comes across my face when remembering the fun trips to Morgantown we took to visit Leila and her college friends, and also the many ND away games and the Kiss concert that you Liza & I would attended.
You have a great family, Joe, and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Donnie & Betty

Condolence From: Mary Ann
Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. The death of a love one can be extremely difficult to cope with. Many have found comfort in the many promises found in God's word the bible. Acts 24:15 has special meaning for many. There it speaks about the Resurrection. By means of it our living creator (Ps.83:18, John 3:16) will restore life to those sleeping in death as promised (Titus 1:2). Please find comfort in this beautiful promise of God during this difficult time...Mary Ann
