Obituary for William "Lee" Wright

William “Lee” Wright, 70, of Rosemont passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Green Valley on April 21, 1944, a son of the late Paul and Lillian Ball Wright.
He is survived by his companion, Nancy Hayes; two sons, Christopher Wright and his wife Amber, Grafton; Willie Wright of WV; and his step son Kenny Harris and his wife Nancy of PA; and eight grandchildren, Garrett, Seth, Jenna, Caitlin, and Olivia Wright; and Chelsea, Lindsey and Jacob Harris. Two sisters, Marilyn Sandy and her husband Kenneth of Bridgeport; Terry Woodson and her husband Kenneth of Rosemont; a brother Paul “Darrell” Wright and his wife Edith of Independence; and several nieces and nephews complete his family.
In addition to his parents, Paul and Lillian Wright he was preceded in death by a brother, Arza Wright, and a sister, Georgie Wright, and his grandmother Anna Wright.
Lee was a retired coal truck driver, and had worked part time for Victory Trucking. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and horses, and he enjoyed working on junk.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m., where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, with Reverend Tom Horne presiding. Interment will follow in Green Valley Cemetery.
