Obituary for Naomi Cecelia Lamar (Conrad)

Naomi Cecelia Lamar, 81, of Stonewood, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 at her home. She was born November 16, 1933 in Rosebud, PA, a daughter of the late Charles Conrad and Ruth Eckley Conrad.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Howard Lamar, who passed away on November 16, 2005.
She is survived by her four sons, Michael Lamar and Mark Lamar, both of Stonewood, Robert Lamar and his wife Mary and John Lamar and his wife Lori, all of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren, Kammilynn Tuttle and her husband Jonathan, Donald, Jennifer and Jessica Lamar; and one great granddaughter, Paisley Tuttle; her brother Walter Conrad and his wife Ardith of Niagara Falls, NY; and a special friend, Phillip A. Kile of Andalusia, AL whom she thought of as a fifth son.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Richardson and her brother John Conrad.
Mrs. Lamar was a nurse’s aid and then became a homemaker and lovingly raised her four children. She was an excellent artist and she loved to paint and draw. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing chess. She also enjoyed swimming. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved being with her pets, Abby, Cody, Katie and Kelli.
