Obituary for Patricia Ann "(Kopp)" Britton (Evans)

Patricia Ann Evans Britton (Kopp), 80, of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday morning, August 29, 2015 in Bridgeport. She was born December 6, 1934 in Salem a daughter of the late Ray and Vada Evans and her stepmother Opal Evans.
She is survived by her companion of twenty two years, Ron Kopp and his family, Paul Kopp of Clarksburg, Ron Kopp, Jr., Pam, Kendra and Kayla of Fleming Island, FL, Tom and Cindy Kopp of Bridgeport, Danielle, Tony, Bradley and Wesley Paulk of Morgantown and T.J. Kopp of Morgantown; her sisters, Judy Sheffer and Don of Richmond, VA and Susan Davis of Richlands, VA and Patricia Carder of Salem and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Salem High School in 1952 and received her nursing degree in 1955 from Union Protestant Hospital on Washington Avenue in Clarksburg and she was a nurse for 41 years in various hospitals in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 10:00 am with Reverend Jim Lang presiding. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Memorial Park IOOF in Salem
