Obituary for
Margaret "Beany" Bramer (Weber)
Margaret “Beany” Bramer, 68, of Bridgeport, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Clarksburg on April 4, 1947, a daughter of the late Edison Paul Weber and Eva (Montoya) Weber.
On October 31, 1964, she married Donald Francis Bramer, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 27, 2009. They were married for 45 years.
She is survived by three children, Yvonne Denise Eakle and her husband Tom of Bridgeport; Eva Marie Conner and her husband Scott of Bridgeport; and Donald F. Bramer, Jr. and his wife Paula of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Allee Bramer Johnson and her husband Patrick; Dak Bramer, Morgan Conner, Trent Conner, Trey Conner and Alex Eakle; 4 great-grandchildren, Cobey Johnson, Gunner Johnson, Parker Johnson and Hadley Johnson; her brothers and sisters, Gary Weber and his wife Linda of Morgantown, Mary Weber Dunaway of Fairmont and James Weber of Fairmont; two brothers-in-law, Arnold Jackson Bramer and his wife Connie, Clyde Lee Bramer; a sister-in-law, Deborah Camp and her husband Steven, all of Bridgeport; nieces and nephews, Louisa Gates, Wade Bramer, Steven Camp, Kathy McMaines, Danielle Camp, Crystal Camp, Andy Bramer, Amanda Bramer, Tim Weber, Jimmy Yost, Doug Yost and Mike Yost; and sisters-in-law Alberta Bramer; Stephanie Morgan Bramer of Clarksburg; and several aunts and uncles.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Weber
“Beany” was a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1965, and was very proud of the fact that she had a 12 year perfect attendance record in school. She had worked at Eagle Convex for three years, and also worked at Washington Square for 6 years.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, and had previously been a member of Immaculate Conception. She had previously attended TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibily). She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, ceramics, music and dancing. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Davis for his love and care and also would like to thank Sally Egan for giving her the Sacraments and for her loving friendship.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 – 8 p.m. The Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015, with Father Benny Kapa as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
