Obituary for Nancy Kay Gawthrop

Nancy Kay Gawthrop age 77 of Athens, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. Mrs. Gawthrop was born October 23, 1937 in Martinsville, WV to Charles and Helen Hoyt.

Services will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 11:00 a.m. at Lindsay lane Baptist Church with Pastor Dusty McLemore officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family. Burial will be in Marshville Cemetery in Marshville, WV. Saturday, October 10, 2015 11:00 a.m. with Burnside Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Gawthrop was a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.

Survived by her husband, Abe Gawthrop; three sons, Jim Gawthrop and wife, Elaine, Phil Gawthrop and wife, Brenda and Tim Gawthrop and wife, Theresa; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends; special companion, Muffy.
