Debbie Amelio  Miller
Debbie Amelio Miller, 49, of Shinnston, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015, at the Fairmont Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 31, 1965, in Union, NJ, a daughter of Carol (Graves) McIntyre, who survives in Bridgeport, and the late Fredrick Richard Amelio.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 30 years, Mike Miller, whom she married May 12, 1985.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two children, Justyn Miller, Shinnston; and Kristyn Blake and her husband Steve, Summersville; her granddaughter, Aubree June Blake; and her sister, Judi Amelio Carr and her husband Bob, Lost Creek. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doris and Lee Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Raines and her husband John; Sandy Fazalare and her husband Fred; and Billie Miller, all of Cunningham Run, Shinnston; her nieces and nephews, Robbie, Ryan, and Daniel Carr; Daniele Gerrard; Jessica Faber and her husband Ryan; Alex Lucas; Brian Raines; Marlie Vance; and Grayson Lucas; several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and her extended family in NJ complete her family.
Debbie was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1984, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree as a Medical Lab Technician from Pikes Peak Institute of Medical Technology. She worked at several places as a lab technician, including Fairmont General Hospital for 7 years, and Dr. Momen’s office. She had also worked for 8 years in CJIS at the FBI.
An ardent student of God’s Word, she was a beloved teacher of Bible School at Family Life Fellowship, and also ran “Treasure Time” for latch-key children there. She served as Chairperson for Shinnston-Lumberport Relay for Life for two years, and was a member and former Treasurer of Bikers for Christ. She enjoyed painting, singing, embroidery and crafting.
The family would like to thank all of her health care providers for the wonderful care Debbie received during her 11 year battle with cancer, and the support that they provided to the family.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Sunday from 2- 8 p.m., where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015, with Pastor Dan Adkins and Pastor Aaron Thomas presiding. Interment will follow in WV National Cemetery.
