The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Skidmore can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Uncle Bob was always at family birthdays. I thought of him on his birthday groundhog day as he would say. Remember visiting him and Aunt Jean over the years, they loved to fish and camp.

Condolence: We just wanted you to know that we are praying for you. That the Lord would comfort you in this time of loss of Bob. We never got to meet him but felt as if we did, as the Carder family kept us abreast of his illness & treatments these last few years. We are so thankful that he was able to serve this wonderful country of ours too. What a blessing! And we are sure he had many stories of his time served. We attend Bible Baptist Temple with Jim & Amy Carder & sons. They are a blessing to so many as we know they have been for you as well. We will see Bob in heaven one day. Looking forward to meeting him
There!

Condolence: What a wonderful man Bob was. He was our familys friend for all the years in his life. I was lucky I got to see him a couple of years ago and we talked in great lengths about the years past. When I was about 4 years old and my Grandparents owned Friends Place, Bob would always let me have a drink of his beer. RIP Bob. We know the gates are waiting for you.
