Obituary for Steven John Marcozzi

Steven John Marcozzi, 61, of Lawrenceburg, KY, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his residence. He was a native of Fairmont, and was the son of Ada Dennison Marcozzi, who survives in Grant Town, and the late John Marcozzi.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Hathaway Marcozzi; his daughter, Amy Wilson, West Virginia; son, David Wilson, Bridgeport; grandchildren, Camilla Wilson, Christian Allen, Taylor Groves; brothers, Chris Marcozzi (Joyce), Fairview; David Marcozzi, Grant Town, West Virginia; a niece, Anna Besedich; a nephew, Michael Marcozzi; and several great-nieces.
He was a Kentucky State Airport Inspector for the Department of Aviation. He was a member of the International Comanche Society and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). He was an Instrument Rated Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 11 a.m. – 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, where services will be held at 12 Noon with Reverend Dallas Steuven presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
