Karen Kay Richmond, 57, of Bridgeport passed away at her residence on Wednesday morning December 21, 2016. She was born May 6, 1959 in Ravenswood a daughter of the late Samuel Bernard Richmond and Erma Gladys Richmond.
She is survived by her daughter, Bianca Richmond of Bridgeport; one brother, Leonard Richmond of Clarksburg; and two sisters, Myra Walters and her husband Arthur of Clarksburg and Nancy Mason and her husband Ralph of Enterprise.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Morgan Richmond and William Richmond; and two sisters, Jean Minks and Cathy Asher.
Karen was a graduate of Shinnston High School and also the WV Business College. She was employed by United Hospital Center as a secretary. She enjoyed making jewelry, bird watching, and walking and hiking.

There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are under the care of Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport
