Obituary for Maggie Elizabeth Vincent (Chipps)

Maggie Elizabeth Perkins-Vincent, 80, of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 20, 1936 in Galloway, a daughter of the late Creed Chipps and Mary Rowe Chipps.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Perkins who passed away on November 14, 1967 and her second husband, Ellis John Vincent who passed away on December 27, 2013.
Maggie is survived by her daughter, Peggy Jo Yates of Bridgeport and her companion Marty Snider; her granddaughter, Patricia Shingleton of West Milford.
She was also preceded in death by one brother Patrick Chipps.
Maggie was a graduate of RW High School where she played softball. She was an avid sports fan and loved animals and arts and crafts. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 10-11:00 am. Interment will follow in Stonewall Park Cemetery, Stonewood.
