Obituary for Roy Franklin Williams Jr.

Roy Franklin Williams, Jr., 66, of Green Valley Road, Bridgeport, passed away Friday morning, January 13, 2017, in the United Hospital Center. He was born in Maryland on April 13, 1950, a son of the late Roy F. and Ruby Alice Adkins Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Young Williams, whom he married July 7, 1968.
Also surviving are six children, Franklin Williams, Shinnston; Bradley Williams and his wife Becky, Volga; David Williams and his wife Casey, Fairmont; Jennifer Williams, Clarksburg; Ryan Williams and his wife Jennifer, Fairmont; and Kaitlin Williams, Philippi; five grandchildren, Bradley, Autumn, Jameson, Lilly, Bobby, Caleb, Brianne, Corey, and Dallas; and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Landon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Williams.
Roy was a mechanic at Johnny’s Radiator Shop in Clarksburg, retiring in May 2012. He loved tinkering on cars and was working on restoring an old truck.
At his request, there will be no visitation or services.
