Robert Blayney Lynn, 85 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his residence.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV on December 13, 1931, a son the late Charles E. and Mildred G. Lynn. Robert married Betty Jo Goad on June 24, 1952, who is surviving.

Mr. Lynn is survived by one daughter, Debra J. Manchin, who resides in Bridgeport, WV; two grandsons, David B. Butterworth and J. Nathanial Manchin. David resides in Charleston, WV with his wife, Maria, and two sons, Robert B. and William D. Nathanial resides in Pittsburgh, PA. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles E. Lynn II of Salem, VA and Joel B. Lynn of Stuart, FL.

Robert was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and later a heavy equipment operator. Robert’s parents were the former owners of Anderson’s Restaurant in Clarksburg, WV.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date in West Alexander, PA.
