John H.  Ash II
John H. Ash, II, 63, of Bridgeport, died Friday evening, May 26, 2017, after a month long illness at Ruby Memorial Hospital under the care of WV Caring Hospice.
He was born in LaJolla, CA, on November 26, 1953, a son of the late John H. Ash and Marjorie (Hall) Ash.
John is survived by his daughter, Amanda Ash and two grandchildren, Sierra and Jacob Clark, all of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Douglas Ash and his wife Sherry of Bridgeport; James Ash and his wife Shanna of Xenia, OH; step-sister Diane Riffee and her husband David of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his step-mother Emilia Ash and his step-brother David Moore.
John was employed by his family business, Hall Office Equipment, as an office furniture designer and installer for a number of years. John was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved camping. His true passion was carpentry and building.

He was cremated and a gathering of family and friends to share memories of John will be held at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
