Obituary for Susan Lavonne Davisson (Fox)
Susan Lavonne Fox Davisson, 60, of Anmoore passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1956 in Salem, a daughter of the late Joseph E. Fox and Lavonne A. Fox.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roger Davisson whom she married on May 11, 1978.
She is also survived by her daughter, Brenda Davisson Grogg of Anmoore and one step-son, Paul E. Davisson; four grandchildren, Alyson Davisson, Gavin Davisson, Aiden Grogg and Ian Grogg.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Fox.
Susan was employed by the Department of Health and Human Recourses for 34 years and the last 14 of those years she served as a supervisor. She enjoyed the people she worked with and enjoyed her work.
She collected Boyd’s bears and loved animals, especially her Yorkie, Gizmo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, PO Box 4397 Clarksburg, WV 26302.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 4-6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Cherry Camp Cemetery.
