We met Dave and Donna at one of the National TDC, (more affectionately known to Yellow Freight Drivers as the annual family reunion) where Dave was a pillar of support for other drivers, always there to give advice and encouragement. A mentor to all. Dave wouldn't hesitate to speak of family, friends or to share a funny story. I'm certain Dave is still turning tires, burning fuel, teaching safety and telling stories. He was taken much to early to have stopped doing something he was so gifted at.

Condolence: To the Bowers Family. I am so sorry to have read of the passing of David. While he was driving for Yellow Freight He did the pick ups for the company I worked for. He always had a minute to spare to pass the time of day and always had a joke or two to pass along to us. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the family in this most difficult time.

He had a mischievous sense of humor and our Road Team assignments were always a blast when we worked with Dave. Know that his safety messages reached hundreds of thousands of people over the years and undoubtedly saved many lives. Mostly he will be remembered as that happy guy who helped anyone with anything they needed. He was a great mentor to many and had a kind heart. We all know that he's resting well now, as God had open arms waiting.

Condolence: It's very hard to express the sorrow we feel over the loss of our friend. I know one thing for sure, our lives were better for having had David and Donna in our lives! David often spoke of the one percenters in the trucking industry that rose above the norm to serve and give back in their careers. David was a one percenter in the human race, someone so special, he led by example caring for others and all of God's creatures. David ALWAYS put others needs ahead of his own. We can take comfort knowing his good work will continue as a Captain of God's Road Team. We miss you and love you! I am so greatful for our friendship.
