Condolence From: Neil and Patrice Nogues
Condolence: To Donna and family, our deepest sympathy. Wishing you comfort in the beautiful memories of Dave. We met Dave and Donna at one of the National TDC, (more affectionately known to Yellow Freight Drivers as the annual family reunion) where Dave was a pillar of support for other drivers, always there to give advice and encouragement. A mentor to all. Dave wouldn't hesitate to speak of family, friends or to share a funny story. I'm certain Dave is still turning tires, burning fuel, teaching safety and telling stories. He was taken much to early to have stopped doing something he was so gifted at.

Condolence: To the Bowers Family. I am so sorry to have read of the passing of David. While he was driving for Yellow Freight He did the pick ups for the company I worked for. He always had a minute to spare to pass the time of day and always had a joke or two to pass along to us. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the family in this most difficult time.

Condolence: Donna and the rest of Dave's family, our hearts are with you. Keep thinking of the happy memories that you shared with Dave and he'll always be with you. We were all blessed to have him in our lives for a time, and he never left us without his smile. I involuntarily smile every time I think of him. He had a mischievous sense of humor and our Road Team assignments were always a blast when we worked with Dave. Know that his safety messages reached hundreds of thousands of people over the years and undoubtedly saved many lives. Mostly he will be remembered as that happy guy who helped anyone with anything they needed. He was a great mentor to many and had a kind heart. We all know that he's resting well now, as God had open arms waiting.

Condolence: David you have touched so many people with your words and wisdom and will be missed by all. It was my honor to have meet someone like you and I don't remember a single day when we were together that wonderful smile and how you... even if it was a bad day had a way if making it better. You are and always will be a "ROADTEAM CAPTAIN" where you made our Highways Safer. Now you are on the "Highway to Heaven" paving the way for the rest of us. God Bless you my friend and may he watch over and take care of your family!

Condolence: David will be missed by all friends and family, he was the "example" of what a Transportation Specialist should be, delivering America's Goods with a smile. Donna, we've always picked the best produce from the garden first, I believe it's the same in God's Kingdom when he chooses us humans. God has the best now with David at his side and although we shed a tear on David's departure from earth, we are blessed with the memories created which we will remember forever, especially the fun times at the National Truck Driving Events. Donna, may God Bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Condolence: Donna we are so sorry to hear about your loss. We always enjoyed the time spent with you and David. I am reminded of a quote I once saw. "The greatness of a man can always be measured by his willingness to be kind." David was a great guy. Know that you and David are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Dave Knisley
Condolence: No one could ever walk in your shoes Mr. Bowers. What a person one should strive to emulate and what a mentor, not only to the transportation industry, but to life itself. You are and will always be a special person in my heart and was always a go to person when I would seek your advice or need help with a project. May the family find solace, knowing you are doing what you've always done best, just in a different place. You will always be a thought away to many of your friends & relatives. May God Bless Donna June and the entire Bowers family as they seek strength to go on with life, knowing that is what Dave would want, not to mourn, but to rejoice in the great times and great memories and all the friends that were made and we all have. Till we meet again my dear friend.

Condolence: It's very hard to express the sorrow we feel over the loss of our friend. I know one thing for sure, our lives were better for having had David and Donna in our lives! David often spoke of the one percenters in the trucking industry that rose above the norm to serve and give back in their careers. David was a one percenter in the human race, someone so special, he led by example caring for others and all of God's creatures. David ALWAYS put others needs ahead of his own. We can take comfort knowing his good work will continue as a Captain of God's Road Team. We miss you and love you! I am so greatful for our friendship.
