Jerry Paul Vincent, 71, of the Green Valley community, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Lost Creek. He was born on December 11, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA a son of the late Harley Vincent and Bertha Vincent.
He is survived by his fiancée Cynthia Linger of Lost Creek; three children, Thomas Paul Vincent of Bridgeport, William Paul Vincent and his wife Rebecca of Snowshoe and Geri Diane Hughes and her husband Chuck of Lexington, NC; four grandchildren, Timothy and Kaitlyn Vincent of Snowshoe and Ty Drainer and Michael Hendricks of Lexington, NC; and one great grandson Bryson Drainer; one brother, Edward Lucas and four sisters, Jill Rhoades, Pam Smith, Wendy Reeder and Amber Tapia.
Jerry was a small engine repairman and most recently had worked for Potts Small Engine Repair. He was a guitarist for more than 41 years and had made a record in Nashville in 1978. He was also fortunate to play his music all over the United States. He liked antique cars and going to car shows. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2-6 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm with Reverend Thomas P. Horne presiding.
