Obituary for Charleen Geneva Richards

Charleen Geneva Richards, 88, of Heath, OH passed away on Friday evening, November 3, 2017 in Bridgeport. She was born on September 14, 1929 in Clarksburg a daughter of the late Charles Edward Richards, Sr. and Geneva Marshall Richards.
She is survived by three brothers, Okey M. Richards, Sr. of Heath, OH, Jim Richards and his wife Patricia of Fairmont and Jackie Richards of Weirton, WV; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lou Richards Yoho and her twin brother, Charles Edward Richards, Jr.; one brother-in0law Arnie Yoho and two sisters-in-law Catherine Casto Richards and Marlene Douglas Richards.
Charleen was a 1947 graduate of Victory High School. She was also employed at Union Carbide in accounting and shipping for nearly 30 years until her retirement. She was a former member of Evangel Baptist Church where she played the piano and the organ..

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Reverend Thomas P. Horne presiding. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Mount Clare.
