Obituary for Karen Jeannette Strother

Karen Crayton Strother, 77, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017, following an extended illness. She was born in Hughes, WV on July 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Paul W. Crayton and Inez Carson Crayton.
Karen was the loving wife of Davy L. Strother for 54 years, whom she married on March 8, 1963.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two daughters, Tracy Strother Gould and her husband Keith of Bridgeport, and Lisa Strother Shreve and her husband William of Woodbridge, VA; and four wonderful grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jack Gould; and Peyton and Logan Shreve.
Karen was a 1958 graduate of Shinnston High School. She was a retired Harrison County School Board Certification Coordinator for over 30 years.
Karen was a member of the New Horizons Church and a very loving, generous and caring person to everyone.
