Jason William  Bowen
Jason William Bowen, 38, of Fairmont and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clarksburg on August 24, 1979 a son of the late William Thomas Bowen and Rebecca Kerns Bowen.
He is survived by his fiancée Rachel Brady of Fairmont; his son Brady William Bowen; his brother Scott Bowen and his fiancée Amy Cross; nephews Hunter and Mason Bowen; and his aunts and uncles, Bob and Sandra Bowen of Charlton Heights, WV, Bill and Sue Kerns of Fairmont and Chuck and Beth Clifton of Flemington; Vicki Snyder, Indiana, and several cousins.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marjorie Newbrough and Robert M. Kerns; his paternal grandparents, Robert Lee Bowen, Sr. and the late Mildred Geraldine Jones Bowen; and his cousin, Greg Mills.
Jason was a 1998 graduate of Bridgeport High School and he had most recently been employed as a heavy equipment operator with Cone Masonry. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks and WVU Mountaineers fan. He loved his son and also enjoyed collecting superhero figurines as well as spending time at the family cabin at Mt. Storm Lake. He was a Christian and attended Mt. Sharon United Methodist Church.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 1-3pm, where a celebration of Jason’s life will be held at 3:00 pm with Reverend Thomas P. Horne presiding.
