The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Myers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Homeboy

Where do I begin? So many memories and so many great times together. Your were like a father to me. You taught me so many lessons. I can go on for days how you effected my life. I give so much credit to you for where I am today in life. You taught me discipline, accountability, dependability, passion, and so much more. I remember certain little things to this day you said to me. Things that guide me in doing the right things. Weve had so many deep conversations about life. Its hard to believe I cant have those conversations anymore. Im gonna miss the jokes and pranks you used to pull on people. You gave everyone in the family nick names. Some of us, still go by those names. Lol! You were the backbone, the glue to the Myers family! You always put together reunions, cookouts, and holiday gatherings. Im gonna miss those times. We all are! Its not going to be the same without you there. I know youre always going to be looking down on us from now on. So, when something funny or embarrassing happens to one of us, we know its you just playing a prank on us. Ha! You were the king of pranks! Ill mention my top 3....1) you buying up all the bras and underwear from a yard sale and placing them in the guys cars you played cards with for the wives to find. Hahaha! Classic! 2) parking in the furthest spot away from the store and yelling funny comments over your PA system u installed in the car to Claudia while she was walking across the parking lot. Hey look at me in the red coat! I think you got all of us on that PA system? Lol! 3) You n I would take our trash in to Sheila and Tims and always put it in the back of Scotts truck and leave it there for him to find in the morning. Haha! So many to choose from. Well, I guess this is it....? I love ya uncle Jimmy and I sure am gonna miss you! Ill see ya in heaven some day!
