The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Oliver can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: James
Condolence: My deepest sympathy for your loss. May your memories of John continually lift your spirits. May you also remember the promises of our Heavenly Father Jehovah. He will swallow up death forever and soon end all our suffering. (Rev. 21:3-5; Isa. 25:8) Peace to you during this difficult time.

Condolence: Johnny O. I can’t believe you’re gone. I know for sure that your mother made sure you were a good catholic to the end, so I have no doubt you in heaven, playing cards with old friends you haven’t seen in years. Are you changing the rules half way through the game like you did with me? Hahaha I hope so!

I’m sorry it’s been so long since we’ve seen each other. Silly things end up making people drift apart. I’ve missed you, and I’m so sad that I didn’t get a chance to tell you that in this life. I pulled out a bunch of old pictures (like from my baby shower) and reminded Andrew about you. So long ago, but it seems like yesterday.

Thank you again for keeping Farley while I was in the hospital. I never asked anyone else to do that ever, so that says something.

You will be missed.
