Obituary for Sharon K. Kearns (Tyler)

Sharon Kearns passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, at her residence in Clarksburg. She was 66 years of age. She was born October 5, 1949, in Richwood, a daughter of the late Jonas R. and Desta Carpenter Tyler.
She is survived by her two children, Thomas D. Kearns and his wife Lara of Stonewood; and Karen E. Elliott and her husband James of Swanten, MD; two sisters. Mary A. McElwain and husband Robert of Clarksburg; Linda S. Stickel of Clarksburg; two brothers, John E. Tyler of Stonewood; and Robert T.L. Tyler and his wife Janice of Good Hope; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Jean Cascarelli and Karen M. Shields, her twin; and three brothers, William E. Hamrick; Jonas Clifford Tyler and Frederick A. Tyler.
Sharon was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Clarksburg. She loved teaching people about the Bible and the future promises it has in store for us.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, from 2 – 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Benedum Run, Anmoore, with Thomas Toliver presiding.
