Obituary for Robert Lee "Bob" Kelley

Robert “Bob” Lee Kelley, 75, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday morning June 5, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Clarksburg on September 13, 1941, a son of the late Paul W. and Edith (Echard) Kelley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Wanda June Hennings, whom he married April 17, 1965.
Also surviving are 8 children, Gary Moses, FL; Carol Yeste; Tammy Christian and her husband Allen; Robert “Bobby” Kelley, Jr. and his wife Alma; Kimberlea Genteel and her husband Rick; Peggy Newbrough and her husband Rodney; James “Scott” Kelley and his wife Kim; and Tracy Knapp and her husband Dewayne; 15 grandchildren, Nathasha, Vanessa, Angel, Boyd “BA”, Hunter, Jason, Rachel, Megan, Haylee, Ory, Miranda, Taylor, Levi, DJ, and Lexi. Twenty-one great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, George Kelley and his wife Marie; James Kelley and his wife Beverly; 2 sisters, Wilma Jean Jones and Sharon George and her husband James; a brother-in-law, Buck Stutler; a sister-in-law, Sharon Ann Kelley; and many nieces and nephews complete his family.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Anthony “Tony” Genteel; a son-in-law, Raul Yeste; a brother, Donald Kelley; a sister, Delores “Sissy” Stutler; and a brother-in-law, Danny Jones.
Bob was a welder with a family owned business, Kelley Welding, a heavy equipment operator, a mechanic and a farmer. He enjoyed tinkering with antique cars, spending time with his family at his camp, fishing and riding 4-wheelers.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, with Pastor Don Knotts presiding. Interment will follow in Stonewall Park Cemetery.
