Obituary for Cleo Prudence Rollins (Bartlett)

Cleo Prudence Bartlett Rollins of Romines Mill, WV, who would have been 93 on July 19, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Dorsey and Blanche Bartlett.
Surviving are children Prudy (Bob) Robertson, Dixie (Denny) Armstrong, Kent (Susan) Rollins, Brent (Jan) Rollins, Amy (Steve) Cline, Beth (Bob) Perkowski, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arnet E. Rollins who passed away on January 2, 1985 who was a former teacher / coach at Roosevelt-Wilson HS, one great-grandson, three brothers and three sisters.
A graduate of R-W HS and Salem College, Cleo was an elementary school teacher in Harrison County. She was active with Literacy volunteers, Paul and Silas Evangelism Team, UHC Transitional Care Ministry, the WV Heritage Crafts, many music ensembles, and Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church.

Family and friends may call at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, Sunday, July 23, from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Brian Boley presiding. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell.
