Obituary for Mary Jane Moore (Shaga)

Mary Jane Moore, 75, of Rosemont, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1942 in Rosemont, a daughter of the late Tony Shaga and Maxine Brown Shaga. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ronnie W. Cottrill
She is survived by her husband Paul Richard Moore of Rosemont.
She is also survived by three sons, Brian E. Cottrill and his wife Sophia of Las Vegas, NV, Mark R. Cottrill and his wife Wendy of Bridgeport, and Kevin L. Cottrill and his wife Amber of Rosemont; and one daughter, Cheri L. Moore and her husband Arthur of Rosemont; her grandchildren, Chad W. Cottrill and his wife Samantha of Pittsburgh, PA, Cody A., Abbey E. Ashley E. Cottrill of Bridgeport, Gregory A. and Sydney M. Moore of Rosemont, Madelyn J. Cottrill of Rosemont, Hailey Sealey of Rosemont, Ethan Wilfong, Nathaniel Bailey, Sean Bailey, Sam Bailey of Rosemont; her sisters, Judith Roma and her husband Al of Florida and Sue McDermott and her husband Jim of Delaware.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Anthony W. Cottrill and her grandson Scott M. Moore and a brother Daniel S. Shaga.
Mary Jane was a member of the Bailey Memorial United Methodist Church, holding many positions over the years. She was also a member of the BMUMC Women’s Society and a member of the Taylor County Photography Club. She was an avid lover of photography and carried a camera with her wherever she went. Most of all, she loved her family and bragged on her grandchildren all the time.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 am with Reverend Clifford Schell presiding. Interment will be in the Flemington IOOF Cemetery, Rosemont.
