George Gabriel Snopps, 55, of Clarksburg, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born August 22, 1962, in Clarksburg, a son of the late George Wesley “Wes” Snopps and Linda Joyce Kearns Snopps.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Snopps who passed away in 2011.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Snopps and his wife Jessica of Clarksburg, his brother , Kenny Snopps and his wife Twyla of Lost Creek and sister, Angel McCarty and her husband Mike of Mount Clare; and several nieces and nephews.

George was a 1981 graduate of WI High School and was a truck driver for 20 years, most recently working for Carlisle Carriers. He was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5-8 pm. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
