Obituary for Janet Kay Farrell (Lang)

Janet Kay Lang Farrell, 75, of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018, in Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport. She was born in Fostoria, Ohio, on July 13, 1942, the only child of the late Gilbert and Helen (Fleck) Lang.
On May 9, 1964, she married Robert L. Farrell, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1998.
She is survived by two sons, Shaun M. Farrell and his wife Patricia of Harleysville, PA; and Brett A. Farrell of Bridgeport; a daughter, Nicole K. Farrell of Bridgeport; and two grandchildren, Courtney M. Farrell and Matthew R. Farrell, both of Harleysville, PA.
Janet was a graduate of St. Wendelin High School. She enjoyed skiing, golf, fitness activities of all kinds, and crafts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, Inc.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m., and a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Benny Kapa as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
