Condolence From: Jim Bowles
Condolence: Dawn and Tara, I was so sad to hear of Rick's passing. I will never forget the great times we had when you were kids, both here in the Kanawha Valley and after you moved up to the Girl Scout camp. I remember teaching Rick the song "Sunflower River Blues" on the guitar, that was probably 40+ years ago. Lost touch over the years, as happens. He was a man filled with love for you, as well as all of his family and friends. I will see him on the other shore, and we will play our guitars together again. Love to you and your kids, I am sure he was a wonderful Grandpa to them.

Condolence: Tara and Dawn, I am so sorry for your loss of your Dad. I so loved Rick, he was a good friend to me and to my ex husband (who he worked with on many projects). I will never forget our times playing music and singing all of us with Blake we had many fun times. I absolutely loved his smile and chuckle at things and how much he loved his girls,& his grandkids. He was a very humble good man with a good heart to help others. He will be greatly missed. Here's to when we see each other again in Heaven Rick and I see your smile again...I am going to really hug U. Trude
