Pearl Melba Reel, 78, of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018 at United Hospital Center. She was born on January 2, 1940 in Parma, OH, a daughter of the late Karl Robert Laux and Pearl Violeta Decamp Laux.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry Reel.
She is also survived by nine children, Kandie Hess, Bonnie Slummer, Cindy Lewis, Debbie Wriker, Rhonda Teets, Buddy Wriker, Steve Reel, Tommy Reel and Larry Reel, Jr.; she is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church and she enjoyed driving coal trucks, listening to music and live plants and flowers. Most of all, she loved her family and was always there when they were in need.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 am with Reverend Dr. Ken Ramsey presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
