She was also preceded in death by her husband, Krandall McCarty.
She is survived by three children, Steve Devericks of Doddridge County, Rhonda McIe and her husband Rodney of Jarvisville, and Kimberly Lantz and her husband Ryan of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Nicole and Elizabeth Stepp, Olivia Connor and her husband Colton, Chelsea McIe and Broderick and Miya Lantz; great grandchildren, Emilie Stepp, Gracelynn Nelson , Jayce Henline, OryAnna Newbrough, and one on the way for whom she was very excited to meet. Patricia graduated from Bristol High School in 1960 and then attended Salem College. She was a self-employed house cleaner and she was working until the day she got sick.
She was the most loving and supportive woman to all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her family no matter how crazy they were at times and would give away her last dollar without a second thought. She was always there for her family and she loved them all equally, although we all knew Gracie was her favorite. Her love will be carried in each of their hearts as they go through life knowing that she was their #1 fan. Patricia is to be missed by everyone who was blessed with the chance to know her.

A gathering of family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., where a celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Perine presiding.
