Obituary for Almeada J. Eddy (Moore)
Almeada J. Eddy, 84, of Bridgeport passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Bridgeport. She was born on September 17, 1934 in Daybrook, WV a daughter of the late Charles Moore and Grace Headley Moore and her stepfather, Herbert “Doc” Branham.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Eddy of 64 years.
In addition to her husband she is also survived by two sons, D. Bruce Eddy and his wife Clara of Core, WV and Bradley Eddy and his wife Kelley of Salem; two granddaughters, Amy Eddy and Ashley Eddy; brother-in-law Don Yost of Sebring, FL; two sisters-in-law, Nina (Toni) Eddy of Kingwood and Nancy Eddy of Greene, RI; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Jo Yost, and one brother, Gary D. Branham.
Almeada worked for many years at Westinghouse and also at Williams Jewelers. She was an active member of the Bridgeport Church of Christ.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday May 1, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11 am with Mark Jones officiating. Interment will be in McCurdysville Cemetery.
