Obituary for Frances Deloras Crowe (Jacobs)

Frances D. Crowe, 80, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Morgantown. She was born on May 15, 1938 in Dry Branch, WV a daughter of the late Franklin Ray Jacobs and Tressie Marie Perry Jacobs Wilson.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wayne Crowe.
She is also survived by three sons, Michael Crowe and his wife Deaonna of Stonewood, James Crowe and his significant other, Luanna Capicola of Clarksburg and Timothy Allen Crowe of Bridgeport; five granddaughters, Melissa “Missy” Crowe Weekley, Michelle Crowe Thompson, Marcie Crowe, Mollie Crowe Wolford and Carina Crowe; eight great grandchildren, Larissa Weekley, Xavier Thompson, Sophia Colon, Jonah Colon, Lucah Watson, Dellah Watson Parker Wolford and Phinley Wolford; two brothers William Jacobs and Ray Jacobs.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jo Hudkins.
Frances was a graduate of Flemington High School and she was a bookkeeper with the City of Bridgeport and for Barry Energy. She was a member of Bethel Temple Christian Center. She loved to play the piano and organ and to sing. Her best enjoyment was visiting with her grandbabies.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 11-7 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Flemington IOOF Cemetery, Flemington.
