Obituary for Edward Gary "Bucky" Stackhouse
Edward G. “Bucky” Stackhouse, 77, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Pierpont Nursing home in Fairmont. He was born August 15, 1942 in Boothsville, a son of the late Virgil Calvin Stackhouse and Dorothy Luella Freeman Stackhouse.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Taylor of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Stackhouse and Kenneth Stackhouse and two sisters Nancy Bowers and Betty Atha.
Bucky was an avid Stock Car fan, and he enjoyed working on the farm, riding his buggy, and cookouts. He was a very generous and caring person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 am with Pastor Eric Miker presiding. Interment will be in Shriver Cemetery.
