Obituary for Debra Yvonne Stout (Hyde)
Debra (Hyde) Stout, 65, of Sugar Camp Road, Shinnston, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019, at her residence. She was born in Wallace on September 15, 1954, a daughter of the late John and Nora (Powell) Hyde.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Edward Stout, who passed away on March 8, 2016.
Surviving are one daughter, Melissa Ann Stout of Shinnston; four grandchildren, Patience Olson; James Edward Stout; Thomas James Sendling; and Hannah Grace Stout; two great-grandchildren, Briley Olson and Oliver Morrow. Three brothers, Daniel Hyde and his wife Barbara; Devin Hyde and his wife Becky; and Darren Hyde and his wife Dana; and two sisters, Denise Moore and Deena Kendall; and several nieces and nephews complete her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Ann Stout and Wendy Renea Stout; her son-in-law, Thomas Lee Sendling; two brothers, Dana Hyde and Mike Hyde; and two sisters, Dawn Clevenger; and Diane Upton.
Debra was a retired cook with the Harrison County School system. She enjoyed listening to 60’s and 70’s music and loved watching her police officer shows. Above all she loved her kids and grandchildren and visiting with family.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 2-8 pm, where services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Bridgeport Cemetery.
