Obituary for Jaclyn Forcucci (Johanssen)

Jaclyn J. Forcucci, 87, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday evening, February 10, 2020, in Country Living Private Care Home, Jane Lew. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on May 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Edward C. and Dorothy (Sell) Johanssen.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, John L. Forcucci.

Also surviving are three children, James E. Forcucci and his wife Phyllis, Stonewood; Lynne A. Carlson and her husband Richard, Lake City, FL; and Stephen J. Forcucci and his wife Freida, Winchester, MA; five grandchildren, Jocelyn Bibbee and her husband Adam, Morgantown; Erin Clevenger and her husband Michael, Clarksburg; Christopher Forcucci, Lost Creek; Evan Forcucci and Elijah Forcucci, both of Winchester, MA; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Logan and Sophie Clevenger, and Ava Bibbee. A sister, Judy Parrish and her husband Jack of St. Augustine, FL, and many nieces and nephews complete her family.

Jaclyn graduated from Langley High School and the Pittsburgh Art Institute. She was well known in the area as a pastel portrait artist, which was her true love. She was an avid golfer and member of Bridgeport Country Club for over 41 years.

She was an active member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the church choir, the church council and evangelism committee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jaclyn’s memory are requested to be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301.

Friends will be received at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg, from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, where a Celebration of Jaclyn’s life will be held at 11 a.m. with Reverend Linda Muhly presiding. Inurnment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
