Gregory F. Joseph, 68, of Clarksburg and formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, May 6, 2020, in Pierpont Nursing & Rehab Center in Fairmont. He was born in Clarksburg on October 31, 1951, a son of the late Bernard Franklin Joseph and Mary (Caldwell) Bailey. He is survived by his step-father, Fred Bailey, of Bridgeport.
In addition to his step-father, he is survived by two step-brothers, Mark Nuzum and his wife Vicki, Bridgeport; Terry Nuzum of Good Hope; and his step-sister, Jan Williams of Bridgeport; his girlfriend Jenny Heston Carr of Daytona Beach, FL; and several cousins.
His best friend was his dog “FiFi.”
He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary Joseph; and his step-mother, Frenna Jean Joseph.
Greg was a graduate of W-I High School and earned an Associates Degree in Architecture from New England Tech. He was a veteran who served in the US Air Force. He was involved in real estate with Colwell Bankers and was a design consultant for Four Seasons Sunrooms. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He was also a member of United Methodist Temple, Clarksburg.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private visitation and service will be held for the family and interment will follow in Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
