Obituary for Ronald Glynn Lowe

On Thursday, July 9th 2020, Ronald Glynn Lowe, widower and father of two, passed away at the age of 87.
Ronald was born in Newton WV, married Shirley Mae Marra of Clarksburg WV.
Ronald was preceded in death by his Father Merrill Hurst and Mother Mae Taylor Lowe Hurst and his three siblings. He is survived by his Daughter Darlene and Son in law John Fritz and daughter Sharon and Son in law Chris Eiring and his Grandson Sean McCarthy and Granddaughter Jennifer Case
He was a farm boy that got his GED in the Navy and went on to work on planes at Westinghouse in MD. He then became a Baltimore City Police officer then the Baltimore City Fire Department which he retired from as a Lieutenant Marine Engineer on fire boat based at Fort McHenry. He also worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles and BWI Airport Security. He was always a farm boy at heart.
Ronald lived in WV and MD until 10 years ago moved to AZ.
Ronald had a passion for vegetable gardening and riding motor cycles, especially Harley’s.
He had the most beautiful blue eyes. He was known for always getting things done, keeping his word and providing for his family, which he did very well. He made the best homemade vegetable and navy bean soup.
A grave side service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Clarksburg with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant. Military honors will be provided by Harrison County Honor Guard.
