Obituary for Delores M. Henry (Fittro)

Delores M. Fittro Henry, 87, of Clarksburg, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at United Hospital Center.

She was born in Wolf Summit on April 30, 1933, the daughter of William Bruce (Joe) Fittro Sr. and Bessie Ella (Reid) Fittro.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon K. Gralish of Florida and Debra S. Cienek of Pennsylvania; four sons, Thomas E. Henry of Maryland, Robert J. Henry, Brian L. Henry and Scott L. Henry, all of Clarksburg; one grandson, Zachary V. Cienek of Pennsylvania and one granddaughter, Melinda M. (McGee) Miller of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Kellen and Ashlyn Miller of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins and one special cousin, Mrs. Lawrence (Kay) Andrews of Clarksburg.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by two sons, Randal Junior Henry in 1955 and Ronald Ray Henry in 2014; two brothers, William Bruce Fittro Jr. in 2001 and Donald Blaine Fittro Sr. in 1985; an infant sister Doris Josephine Fittro in 1927; an infant brother Harvey Joe Fittro in 1935; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Delores loved to travel and see light houses. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and liked to watch old westerns on television. She was manager of the Kompak store in Broadway and worked many years as secretary for Graham Plumbing in Clarksburg. Mrs. Henry was Protestant.

The Family would like to thank all WVU Medicine Home Health Nurses, especially Julia, and aides Jen, Denise and Sam, and all aides who gave her wonderful care.

At her request there will be no viewing or visitation.
