Obituary for Joseph P. Fedio
Joseph P. Fedio, 56, of Los Angelas, CA, departed this life on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Adventist Health Glendale in Los Angeles, California surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Bridgeport on July 27, 1964, a son of the late Louis D. Fedio Sr. and Margaret A. Scalise Fedio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carrie Lynn Brookstein, and brother, James “Jimmie Lee” Garcia.
Surviving are his brother, Louis D. Fedio, Jr, Clarksburg; his nephews, Micheal Fedio and his wife Andrea, Clarksburg; Paul Morris, Bennington, NE; and Eric Armstrong, Genoa, IL; his nieces, Kristy Fedio Fischer and her husband Daniel, Clarksburg; Bethany Fedio, Grafton; Kylee Smith Osborn and her husband Ryan, Clarksburg; Tara Wells and her husband Brian, Clarington, OH; great-nieces Ava Fedio, Gianna Fedio, Olivia Fedio, Hayley Swiger, Emma Swiger, Abbie Wells, Alli Wells, Sophia Morris; godfather and cousin Anthony “Tony” Scalise, and several other cousins.
Joe was a 1982 graduate of Bridgeport High School.
For over 20 years he lived in Los Angeles, CA where he pursued many of his life-long aspirations—acting, photography, and real estate. He was an avid traveler who lived life to its fullest. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. His personality was contagious to everyone he met. He was the light and laughter of any room that he stepped in. His beautiful smile and wittiness will be greatly missed.
