Obituary for Doris E. Fragmin (Oldaker)
Doris E. (Oldaker) Fragmin, 90, of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday morning, August 15, 2021, in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Clarksburg on January 21, 1931, a daughter of the late Hilbert and Agnes (Shreves) Oldaker.
On April 14, 1951, she married Guy J. Fragmin, who preceded her in death on November 15, 2011.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Gary Fragmin and his wife Lena of Philippi, Greg Fragmin and his wife Linda of Bridgeport, Diana Vecchio of Bridgeport, and Guy J. Fragmin, Jr. of Dayton, OH; six grandchildren, Michelle Meder and her husband Alex, Michael Vecchio, Christy Goff and her husband Jimmy, Jill Fragmin and Sam McKinney, Gary Fragmin, Jr. and his wife, Gretchen, and Lisa Fragmin; great-grandchildren, Kyle Amodio and his wife Alicia; Tre Riffle; Garyona Riffle; Gabriel Meder; Jalin McKinney, Abby Goff; Isaac Goff; Isabella Goff; Toby Goff; and Dylan Blake; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Jensen Amodio; a nephew, Donnie Waller; and two great-nieces, Jesse and Trisha Mayle.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Brenda Heater and Francis Waller; and a brother Don Oldaker.
Doris was a graduate of R-W High School. She had worked at Brockway Glass and retired from Anchor Hocking. She enjoyed playing the piano and harmonica. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery with Father Walt Jagela presiding.
