Obituary for Annetta Rose Vasquez (Brunetti)

A very bright shining light, Annetta Rose Vasquez, 84, of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021, in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Clarksburg on July 5, 1937, a daughter of the late John H. and Katherine L.A. (Tiano) Brunetti.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jess Vasquez.
Also surviving are two sons, Chuck Malcomb of Bridgeport; and Wesley Malcomb of Clarksburg; her granddaughter, Danielle Malcomb and a grandson Shawn Malcomb, both of Florida; a brother, Tucker Brunetti of Bridgeport; a sister, Jennifer Schellenberg of Clarksburg; her Aunt Sandra Whitehair of Clarksburg; her step-brother, Regis Ellis of Clarksburg; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dog Jack.
Annetta was a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1955, and then attended WVU. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
She loved flowers, loved to read, and loved animals. But most of all she loved her family.
She was a very loving and fiercely loyal and protective mother and grandmother who was true blue to the end.
The family would like to especially thank the UHC Cardiology nurses and the UHC Staff of Oncology. She loved you all!

Friends will be received at All Saints Catholic Church, 317 E. Main Street, Bridgeport, on Friday from 5 – 8 p.m., where the Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, with Father Walt Jagela as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
