Obituary for Joshua Lee Julian

Joshua Lee Julian, 20, of Lake Floyd, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 13, 2021. He was born in Clarksburg on July 3, 2001, a son of Robert L. Julian and Serena K. (Shingleton) Julian.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Madalyn; his grandparents, Brad and Terry Shingleton of Lake Floyd and Barbara and Anthony Skidmore of Meadowbrook; and his great-grandparents, Argyle and Patty Shingleton of Clarksburg. His aunts and uncles, Lori and Bill Smarr; Scott and Jen Shingleton; Katy Shingleton; Melissa and Chuck Steffich; Jessica Julian; and Jason and Amber Julian; and several cousins complete his family.

Josh was a graduate from Penn-Foster High School. He loved to go fishing, where he and his grandfather spent many days enjoying life. He was very intelligent and excelled with computers and gaming. His friends said he was fun to be around and was extremely kindhearted. His little sister was his light, and he was very proud to be her big brother. He always enjoyed his time spent at Camp Kno-Koma, a summer camping experience for children with diabetes.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 4 – 8 p.m. Private Funeral Services will be held for the family.
