Obituary for Shirley Lee Thompson (Langdon)
Shirley Lee Thompson, 66, of Clarksburg, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, at her residence. She was born on May 23, 1955, a daughter of the late Arloe and Mary (DeGarmo) Landon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Aki Thompson, Sr., in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her long-time companion of 15 years, Harold Smith, in 2013.
She is survived by her son, Dale W. “Buddy” Mitchell, II, and his wife Wanda of Clarksburg; and her daughter, Renee Eldridge and her husband Kris Barton, of Newell, WV; grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Karissa, Danielle, Amanda, Hannah, Rachel, and Abigail; Angel, AJ and Sammy; several great-grandchildren; her step-children, Floyd “Pumpkin” Thompson, II; Ronnie Thompson, Heather Thompson, and Floyd Aki Sager; several step-grandchildren; and a brother, Glen Langdon of West Lafayette, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pet cat, April.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Langdon.
Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and camping. She also enjoyed word puzzles, games on her tablet, and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.

Shirley will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held by her family at a later date.
