Obituary for Kevin Michael Ashcraft

Kevin Michael Ashcraft, 56, of Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday evening, May 11, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of WVU Hospice. He was born in Clarksburg on November 25, 1965, a son of the late James Edward Ashcraft and Wilma Marie Cornwell Ashcraft.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Miller Ashcraft.
He is also survived by his brother, Timothy W. Ashcraft and his wife Michelle of Clarksburg; his niece, Marleena Langer and her husband Kyle of Clarksburg; his nephew, Steven Robert Liller Ashcraft and his husband Paul Liller of Morgantown; his great-niece Aubrey Langer; his step-children, Merry Kate Talkington and Olyvya Jones; and three step-grandchildren, Zyria, Ezekial, and Zakierra. He is also survived by Donna’s children, Henry Cutler; Mary Krob, and Carl Rudy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Ashcraft, and his grandparents, James Auburn and Rosella Ashcraft; and Hobart and Ethel Cornwell.
Kevin had attended Liberty High School. He had been a DJ with WPDX and other local stations. He was also a local wrestler known as “Southern Brawler.” He was a member of Eagles Club #2353 of Clarksburg and Moose Club #52 of Clarksburg. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, participating in the Hogs and Heroes, Ride for Life, among several others.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to the American Cancer Society at 122 S High St, Morgantown, WV 26501; or to his Care Fund at Burnside Funeral Home.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 10 – 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, where a celebration of Kevin’s life will be led by Bridgett Queen. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
