Obituary for Shirley Jean Williams (McCormick)

Shirley Jean Williams, 75, of Stonewood passed peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2014 in Bridgeport. She was born October 10, 1938 in Stonewood a daughter of the late Alma Lewis and Harold McCormick.
She is survived by two daughters Alma Kelley and her husband Robert of Bridgeport and Peggy Channell and her husband Randy of Montana, and a son Walter Williams and his wife Linda of Texas; five grandchildren Jason Kelley and Rachel Kelley both of Bridgeport, Gilbert LaForge, Mitchel LaForge, and Megan LaForge all of Montana; four great grandchildren, Rashana Kirby of Bridgeport, Destiny LaForge, Gracie LaForge and William Suddath all of Montana; a step sister Ruby McCormick and a step brother Harold McCormick.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence Williams Jr and David Williams; and her sister, Sarah Steward. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Clarence Williams.
Shirley was employed at Mountain State Linen for several years and she really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4-8 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Stonewall Park Cemetery, Stonewood.
