Sandi Richards, 71, of Highland Dam Road, West Milford, passed away Saturday evening, June 20, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Clarksburg on November 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry V. and Elsie L. (Phillips) Barnett.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Alfred L. Richards, whom she married in 1960.

Also surviving are her children, A.J. Richards and his wife Janet, Parma, OH; Kim McCloud and her husband Woody, Vinegrove, KY; and Tonya Stonestreet and her husband Clyde, West Milford; eight grandchildren, Melissa Hurley, Josh Stonestreet, Chris Stonestreet, Stacy Richman, Nicole Richards, Alec Richards, Dana Richards, and Heather Goodwin; five great-grandchildren, Madison Stonestreet, Willow Richman, Lily Richman, Alex Richman, and Jimmy Ernst; and a brother Jeff Barnett and his wife Dee, Glen Burnie, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Serena Stonestreet.

Sandi was a graduate of R-W High School, and was the former owner and operator of Rose Hill Cemetery, West Milford. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her whole life, and she enjoyed attending their many functions.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, with Reverend Rita Robinson presiding. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
